Just wanted to say hey to all you Pacific Northwest folks!! I will be purchasing my 8 Next May for my birthday. My husband and I want to save a nice down payment for one and I thought that would make a nice birthday present for me. I am hoping to get a 2004 winning blue edition but if I can't I will be getting the 2005 one. I am kind of torn between the blue and green and haven't seen a nordic green one yet have any of you guys. When I went to the Mazda dealer near my home they had one on the lot and o' man it's nice too!!! I just want an uncommon one I guess. Yellow was cool too but wanted a little darker color. I just want to hear what everyone else has got and where you guys are from. I am from Olympia,WA and just wanted to get a shout out to ya'll

...Just purchased a Nordic Green 2004 a few weeks ago. Truly gorgeous, imo, and, as others have noted, the color changes from an azure blue to black depending on the light. Of all the colors, Nordic Green simply cannot be captured accurately in photographs. You really have to see it in person.

Having said that, however, the Nordic Green suffers from the same weaknesses as Black in the Pacific NW. Too little sun and (this time of year) far too much rain makes keeping it clean a significant challenge.
