Install Day Sat. 6.27?

hey guys--

anyone interested in hanging out for another install day? maybe we can crash ft. lewis again and use the lifts? otherwise, it'll be a driveway install for a set of coilovers i picked up. i'll most likely stick to this schedule so if anyone wants to show that'd be sweet.

We can just use your driveway. Long as you have a standard set of tools we are good.

You dont need a spring compressor. The springs are already on the coils. Duh!

I needed a spring compressor for my coilover install

What kind did you get?

I'm going to have side skirts to install but first off, i don't think i'll be able to wait until Saturday (my car looks hideous and disfigured!) and secondly, im not sure if i cant even finagle the skirts into my car.

My house is always open for install days if you like -- decent sized garage, decent size driveway, plenty of tools. Either way i'm down for a hang out/install day... I'm bored!

Sweet.

My Tein Basics didn't come with upper mounts so i needed a spring compressor.

P.S. - I've always thought calling a spring compressor a spring compressor is a little overkill. It's pretty much a glorified screw. You're lucky you don't need one though. You didn't buy crappy low end coilovers like me. But knowing you, you paid less for the Flex w/ EDFC than i did for my Basics.

I might possibly be able to make it. I'll have to see how my weekend looks. I have a set of springs to install on my Koni's, so I'd have to pick up a spring compressor. The compressors really suck, so you're lucky you don't have to use them.

Just have some snack supplies on hand with water and other beverages, then buy dinner with a few pitchers of beer after. It cost me about 175 bucks, but it beats the 500+ that it would at a shop!

But only for the people who actually work!

That was all of the food, snacks, drinks, and the use of the lift for 8 hours.

I'll come hang out, I think.

Tangent: I just saw pictures of a Miata running 275/35/15's on 15x9's. It made me sad:
