As Jeff said above folks who already have an Accessport please download Jeff's baseline for your application and follow his instructions to get your baseline engine calibration set up before he comes up.
you can find instructions in this thread: https://www.rx8club.com/mazdamaniac-183/new-mazdamaniac-base-calibrations-162263/

I just did my two drive cycles on the new base calibration this week and did my idle and cruise datalogs today. I sent them to Jeff. I recommend all of you who have your Accessports perform this pre-work and send it to him this week or next week so he can send them back to you before the 16th.
It will take you a couple of days because you have to warm up and cool down the car completely twice before you can start logging so make sure to leave yourself some time to get this done.

Any chance there will be time for people to get a few dyno runs? Not looking like I will have the money to buy an AP (promotion delayed ). No worries is there is not enough time. Assuming weather is good, I'm still going to drive up to hang out and meet everyone

Right now all the slots are full so I don't think there will be extra time. Of course you're welcome to come up and hang out and if someone backs out and there are no takers for tuning you are welcome to step up and take the slot.

Yes, and then some.
It is usually just enough time to get it done.
In any event, the cost for the dyno operator is equally divided, regardless of the actual amount of time used.
Its the only sensible way to run the event.
Imagine if you had to run something like this and you were trying to decide who owed $47 and who owed $53?

If we have 8 people I don't think we'll have extra time. We'll be hard pressed to keep working through the group. But if someone backs out we will have our waiting list jump in first and pay their share and so on if there are other folks.

Well I got a **** load of money this year for christmas. I was going to use it to buy a few guns that will most likely be outlawed in about 20 days, but the State of Michigan is being gay and their offices were only open on monday this week. I got my pistol, but the rifle will have to wait.
So I can attend if I don't have to work. I would like to buy the tuner from MM and have him bring it up. If I can't get on the dyno it would be fine with me. I also just bought the K&N intake and the Agency Power exhaust. Im guessing that they should be tuned with the AP.

Regarding new Mods: Please make sure you put some miles on your car with any new mods to make sure they are working properly before your come to the dyno day. If you run in to problems with your intake or exhaust that mess up Jeff's tuning it will chew up time we don't have and probably cause you to have a bad experience.
Make sure any mods you put on before the tuning session are working properly and that you have put a couple hundred miles on them.
If you are having problems with any mods please get them worked out before the session or remove them so you have a proper running car for the tuning session.
Additionally what I've gathered from reading Jeff's threads is that aftermarket intakes, Fuel Injectors, and ignition systems are what affect the tune. Exhaust doesn't seem to be an issue.

Let's do a "Shake Down" run next weekend. Get your mods on the car, then come out and put some miles on them. If we meet at the Safeway across from my place we can use garage/driveway to do any wrenching that needs doing to get things right. I've a really good loop that'll make you exercise all the parts of your car so you can check for leaks, rattles, gremlins of any color and take care of them.

Final Payment:
I spoke with both Jeff and Kito about getting the final payment together.
Kristopher_d can collect the remainder of our money via the Paypal method you used to place your deposits then cut two payments: one to Kito and one to Jeff. This will definitely be the simplest method and allow people to use their credit or ATM cards if they wish. We will need to pay sales tax and Paypal fees for this transaction (9% ~$20) to pay Jeff and Kito so it will be $145.10.
The only exception is AngryBumblebee owes Jeff an additional $100 because he is not a MM AP customer.
You can make the final payment via this link: http://www.the-winding-road.com/modu...p?product_id=4
AngryBumblebee you can pay your remainder here: http://www.the-winding-road.com/modu...p?product_id=5
Otherwise you will need to bring cash to the event and will need to pay before you will be allowed to strap on to the dyno.
I know it's an additional $20 for tax etc. but this will definitely be the easiest way for all of us and allow people to use their credit cards to pay Jeff.
Please plan on making the final payment before Monday 1/11/09.
Let me know if there are any questions or concerns.
