I would recommend a hotel on the east side outside Seattle for price reasons.

Also it would be pretty cool to have it coincide with a track day. The NWalfa club has a Bremerton track day on May 23rd, August 21st, and Oct 25th. They may let us run with instructors if we talk to them ahead of time.

I could work on that if people are interested. I'd need to know if people would be up for a weekday event or not and how many.

The other suggestion is we could organize a drive with Kristopher_d and www.the-winding-road.com. He does Monthly drives down here and always has interesting scenic back roads. He could probably get us a group rate if people are nterested in hitting the twisties.

All excellent suggestions. I like the track day or group drive idea the best. And yes, I can definitely do discount for a large enough group.

23 May is do-able for a track day for me.

So were you thinking - track day on May 23rd, Mazda Meet on the 24th, and TWR drive on the 25th?

Let's see, that would be 2-3 tanks of fuel on the 23rd, 1/4 to 1 tank on the 24th, and a tank on the 25th. Man that sounds like a REALLY good weekend.

I've requested information from King County Parks regarding the "Event Pad" (what Cirque du Soleil uses 6 weeks out of the year). If we do this July 19/20 or August 2/3, and the price is right, I might be willing to cover to the event pad costs. No promises yet, as I don't have a price from Parks and Rec. I'll update when I have more info.

I'll be down for a nice drive after getting back stateside if i got the 8 back up in WA. If I do show i'll drag along a noob to the RX side of life with his 8 in tow. This is only if its after the 15 of july cause i wont be back before then and wont have my car until after that date as well.

I would say the 30th for labor day weekend then others from up north would be more likely to show up.
