Glad to hear you heard back from the Ferrari guy. I guess we should have specified that getting his phone number is not so much because he might get lost but because everyone else might.

Anyway the 3 is fine. It wasn't an overheated tranny or anything. It was operator error when I did the oil change on her. It has a cartridge style filter with an o-ring you have to replace on the screw in cap. I swapped it out but apparently it got squished and cut up when I screwed the cap back in. So it started leaking. They swapped it and changed the oil for us. Needless to say I now have the adapter to swap it to a regular cannister style oil filter the next time I change the oil.

I have to say I was really impressed with how the 3 handled. The trans made the throttle a little choppy but once I realized it's better to stay on the gas when manually shifting the shifts got much smoother. It handled nicely in the corners and was pretty flat most of the time. Nothing earth shattering on the g meter but a good run. Looking forward to next month when I can bring the 8!

Ha ha... operator error. At least it wasn't something broken or damaged!

I was looking in my rear-view mirror a lot to see how you were doing keeping up with us. I was impressed! I was more worried about your mom hanging on in the twisties. Sounds like she enjoyed it though. Pretty cool to have her along! And Kristopher's mom too. I was thinking Anibal would have his mom along too, like usual. Maybe we'll have to do a Mother's Day drive next year - literally! There's no way in hell my mother would go - she can barely drive 20mph to the grocery store and it's just around the corner from her...lol.
