So I'm selling my car as soon as I fix it.. Unsure if I will buy a different one or just be done with rotary. My car keeps lossing power and now it won't start. Towing it to a shop them flying home probably

It won't do anything now , but it would just slow down and since it's a automatic it would down shift for more power and nothing would happen. I had to pull over and try starting it again. Then I was looking for a shop and it won't start. It turns over but won't start

yeah im pretty sure its the motor.. it just like lossed all power. and then died.. i got it to start again a couple times then it died again. i was looking for a shop to take it to. but no dice.. insurance is paying the 875 dollar towing fee. and im trying to get my cousin a plane ticket back home then ill be staying with my car i do know a couple ladies out here so hopefully it wont be misserable but its official my bank accounts will be empty.. oh well. vegas was fun.

bignatex: I'm leaning towards your coils getting toasted while you were out here. Our OEM coils are problematic and also prone to failure in extreme heat.
that could easily explain your loss of power and problem starting.
get it towed to a mazda dealership, not just some normal shop because they won't know how to diagnose the coils and will tell you something retarded like the valves are stuck or your engine head is broken.
