Mini Track at Pacific Raceways

Hey, check out this youtube link. Would anyone know how to get into one of these events? Better yet, how much would it be to rent this place. I doubt we'd be able to rent it, but man it looks fun.

That'd be pretty fun. It'd be like a mini race track.. or a mega autocross.

That's awesome. I'm down. I'm down for an RX-8 Club Mario Kart 64 Tourney too (+beer), although I'm terrible at that game.

I think that would be a blast. My nephew kills me in that game.

I called the track today and found out that it's 6speedonline that is putting on the car track days at the kart track. The next one is this Monday (8/24) and you can do morning or afternoon for $85 or all day for $135 (including the $10 "track-access" fee). I'm not going to make this one but I'm hoping they do another one soon that I can attend.

So much for responding to emails

Still, that's awesome! We should all go some time! I doubt I can take monday off on such short notice but further ahead, definitely!

I heard you can rent carts out there. I'll try and get a brochure when I go out there next week. Maybe we can have an RX-8 cart session. It'd be fun to race against each other.

I talked about organizing a monthly karting thing a while back but never actually did, maybe now's the time to start?

K1 in Redmond is $50 for 3x12 lap races or $60 for a full grand prix (12 lap practice, 14 lap qualifying, 16 lap race with trophies).

It might be pretty fun to do a full grand prix some time but you need 6 people, I can't see doing it monthly though.

http://www.pacificgp.com/arrive-a-drive/pricing.html

It's $25 for 12 minutes at the PR mini track. I think we need to do it! And Dondo don't give me any crap about price. you pay $25-35 for 3 minutes of autox and then you have to stand around chasing cones for 3 hours. This is a deal!!! haha
