My Custom Camera Mount

So this is the video that I took from the HPDE with Porsche club on Sept. 3rd.
That was my first time and it was a lot of fun....!!!
The camera mount is OK, but can't really how my hands are working..
Cost around 15 bucks to build, all the parts from HomeDepot
Enjoy

Awesome vid!

Man, I'm really impressed with how smooth that mount ended up. Does the camera do any kind of stabalizing?

Nice job showing the Porsches how to drive haha. Great driving! I'm glad you figured out the mount. I have a hack saw if you want to get that one peice of metal and stretch it from post to post. That way you can try mounting the camera in different locations to get your hands or a different view if you want.

So this is the mount

I mount the camera at the very left..and I mount it up side down so that the rear view mirror doesn't block the view. After that I need to edit the video to flip it back up..

and this is the exhaust tip after the event...

I only got 99miles for almost a tank of gas...!!

I'm using Sony handycam with 8GB internal memory. You don't want to use something with harddrive. Any handycam with harddrive will error as you accelerate.
