Nearly 100ºF tomorrow...

Group buy, anyone?

Seriously, be gentle, that's crazy hot for Seattle and traffic is going to be that much worse because everyone will be angry.

That's nothing. It was 117 hear today. I'll have to call my mom in Belluvue and make sure she survived.

I used my ac for the first time this summer today, it was 93 when I got home. There are big angry red warnings on all the weather sites about severe heat or some such. There's no humidity though, so I'm still content

Don't forget to drink fluids. Remember the water you drink today, helps you tomorrow. Don't wait till you're dehydrated.

We still haven't had a single 90 degf day in Boston this season, but possibly today. Mostly due to almost continuous rain/overcast. Strange Summer!

Yesterday the high was 105* and when I got in my car after it had been sitting in the sun all day showed 125*. Even with the AC blasting my back was sweaty when I got home.

My parents have been saying the same thing from Western MA.

Yah, that's nuts. My car sits in a garage at work. No way I'm taking the bus in this weather.

But yah, let's be thankful we're blessed with no humidity!

I'm so tired of hearing about the "heatwave" on the Westcoast. It was 110 degress when I got in my car (under covered parking mind you) yesterday after work. This is going to be the hottest July ever for us. In Texas that is no joke.

The big difference here though is not even all stores have ac here, let alone houses. Most people don't need it because normally it isn't hot enough in the summer.

I was in San Antonio last July and it was hot! I used to live in Dallas and grew up on tropical islands so I know hot AND humid!

Even in the mild PACNW, I will not buy a house without AC. I need it to stay cool (naturally hot) and for allergies.

I was born in Cali and grew up in Hawaii and we didn't even have AC there. Then in High School we moved to Sarasota, FL and AC was a must then. My senior year we moved to Texas and I remember doing two-a-days for football that first summer and the Texas heat was like no other I have experienced. I do bleachers now sometimes in the afternoon (hottest part of the day) and I usually burn 600-700 calories in 30-40 minutes.
