Need Parts for 2006 RX8

Hello,

I recently purchased a written off RX8 and my dad and I are slowly fixing it up to make it road worthy again. Here's a list of all the parts I need right now and if anyone has any of these parts (or preferable most/all of them), please let me know.

Steering Rack
Upper and Lower Control arms (Driver side)
Engine Crossmember
Oil coolers (left and right)
Passenger side air bags (main one in dash and 2 side impact)
Front bumper cover with fog lights
wheels and tires

If anyone can help me with these parts, it'd be a big help. Not sure if it matters, but I live in Western Canada.

Thanks

Curious to know, how much did you get it for?

I paid $11,500 for it and figure that I need to put between another 6 to 8 in to get it back to new. It only has 3700km's (2500 miles) on it so I think it's a pretty good deal considering they're selling for about 40k Canadian here for an 06.

Good luck fixing it up! I've pondered the idea of picking up a car that's been written off and making it a project car. Do a 20b swap or just build a ridiculous Renesis engine, do a bunch of interior customizing, racing seats, etc... I figure with something like that I could take my time and build it at my leisure.

The $20,000,000 (CDN) question is this: Is the frame striaght?

If the frame is hosed beyond repair it's never going to drive like it should.

Thanks a lot...the frame is actually in really good condition. There's one area on the passenger side thats bent in, but it shouldn't be a problem straightening it back out again.

It should be a fun little project car, one that I can take my time with getting it just how I want.

Smile To : Need Parts

I think I have decided to sell my 2004 Titanium RX8 for a more practical car in the near future. I happen to have a spare set of aftermarket wheels and all-season radials for it that I purchased exactly 2 years ago when I was living somewhere with more snow. I tried to buy just snow tires for it, but they would have been over $300 (U.S.) each in the stock size. Plus- nobody seemed to have them. So I elected to buy a different set of rims (in a 17 in. diam. as opposed to my stock 18) because I could get both tires AND rims for about $300 more. That meant no hassle with mounting/unmounting, etc. As I will probably trade the car in, I am looking to sell these separately. They cost $1600 total then (incl. tax, balancing, valve stems and locking lug nuts). They don't even have 3,000 miles on them total. Here are the details:

Wheels - Enkei charcoal gray with aluminum accents, 17X7 (5X100) rims.
Tires - Toyo Observe snow/mud radials, 225/50R 17.

I have the original receipt from Les Schwab for them. I can probably send you a picture if you send me your e-mail. Let me know if you're interested and what you might be willing to pay. They are located near Seattle, WA. Thanks!

Lily
