The Eagle1 is good stuff, but you need to be fairly religious with it. By the time I first tried it, my tips were almost as black as the lower part of the bumper.

Tranny is still in bad shape. I'm waiting to hear back from a vendor. Hopefully I can get a rebuildable unit on the cheap so I can make some internal changes before swapping it in.

I use this, it has a wax or something in it too, so they stay clean for a while. I got it at Schucks.

Nope. The transmission's no worse than it has been the last 6 months. In fact, the improved compression is causing the engine to be more responsive, making the rev matching easier.

I'll post the July Drive announcement this evening.

This is the first time I have heard of someone gaining power due to an engine flood. The wife flooded my car and it never felt any different after I got it running (using the instructions in the manual). Did you reset the PCM or anything?

Nope, no PCM reset. I think it was just the decarb effect of soaking the rotors in gasoline.
