New rx8 owner to the NW
Hello all. I already had a 1988 RX-7 GXL, which I kept, but I traded in my SUV with cash and got myself a 2005 RX-8 today
Just saying hello for now.

Few pics I snapped, nothing all of you haven't seen though
2005 Titanium Grey Base model 6speed, I went with the base model because it's the lightest one, didn't want all of that crap the GT package comes with and I can add leather later.
I doubt I'll make it to the dyno, gotta break-in the new motor slowly and all. Plus I have a stat project due for school soon that I need to start.
Just saying hello for now and I'll be hanging around

As a fellow 2nd Gen. RX-7 owner and RX-8 owner (in Ti Grey no less!) I commend you on your fine taste in cars and color.

My user ID will give you a good clue.
My previous ride (now my son's ride) was a Blue 1987 Sport model. That model was NA but had the turbo suspension and brakes. It also had the aero kit.
I've been a member of the RX-7 club (same user name) for a long time but mostly in lurker mode.

My 2nd gen is a GXL with s5 body conversion, black interior conversion, rebuilt/ported motor by me, etc etc. Hoping to hit 14 flat with it this spring/summer at the drag :D

I've had black cars, and they show dings/scratches/dirt way too damn much. I really got sick of it. Silver/grey show scratches and junk way less, that's why I got it.
