If your car is in good shape, you should enter your car and just do it. Trust me on that. It's easy to pick up, and there are always a lot of people to help you. It is a great time and it's fun pushing your car without having to worry about the cops. You'll also learn car handling skills that will help you on the street.

Here's a clip without a fisheye lens. The course (in the clip) will look confusing because you haven't walked it. After you register, (depending how early you get there) you can walk the course two to three times so it will make sense on where you're supposed to go, they even give you a map of the course. Yep you'll make mistakes, but it is a thrilling ride!!

Yeah, my car's in good condition except for some funny wheel noise :'(
I REALLY want to do AutoX except it's like BF nowhere....But I'll probably try to figure out what's wrong with the wheel before I go racing in it.

They're all listed in the first post of this thread: https://www.rx8club.com/nw-rx-8-forum-33/race-june-2010-seattle-area-198524/
I make one of those for every month until things wind down around November, or at least I did last year. My current plan is to go to the school on the 19th, either volunteering or as an "Intermediate" student if they have room and then the Pro-Solo on the 26th. That's a great event to spectate at but a bad event to be a Novice at.
July's schedule is something like:
BSCC Event on 7/11, Practice day(!) on July 30th, both in Bremerton (75min from Seattle)
NWR SCCA Practice day(!) on 7/17, Event on 7/18, both at Packwood! (2hrs 20min from Seattle)
Packwood Practice days are freaking AWESOME. Leon, my buddy Zack and I went to one there last summer. We each got around 24 runs for the day and Zack managed to drive at least 3 other people's cars.
