Went to Bellevue Auto Rebuild. Surprising amount of damage considering how little it looks like cosmetically. The cost is all in labor because the damage is in the "dog foot" of the rear quarter panel which is a hard area to reach, they're going to have to remove the suicide door and the trunk apparently.

Don't be scared off by RawrX8's comments. The gears might not be perfect, but he was able to keep up with the fastest on the track.

Rev matching into 1st at those speeds is pretty hard because you scrub speed pretty fast if you're off the throttle for even a moment in 1st above 7k RPM. Get the revs wrong on a down-shift and you're going to fly into your steering wheel and/or lock up the rears. Then once you're in 1st, you'll only be there for a moment because 7krpm to 9krpm in 1st takes all of a second if that at WOT. On AutoX courses it was almost never worth it to shift down to 1st, I can't imagine this being much different.
I blame the problem on 0-60 times. In the last 10-15 years, automakers/consumers have become obsessed with 0-60 times, which lead to a lot of modern cars having longer 1st and 2nd gears so you only have to shift once for 0-60.

If you've never tried to down-shift into 1st at speed, find an empty parking lot some time and give it a go. It's honestly really hard.
That said, Pacific GP still looks like a blast. I think Brad's comment is more that in order to be competitive against other cars, you're going to be back and forth into 1st which is just plain hard, so realistically you need something (hehe, boost!) to add power to the bottom end of 2nd.

I tried 1 session down shifting into 1st gear to keep the RPM within power range but you would drop than have to switch to 2nd. Pretty much you stay in 2nd gear like autocrossing and focus on braking points, cornering entering/exit speeds and have fun. Clip 3rd gear during the straight away.
Go out and experience the track its a blast. Ill be out there to play again with something different.

Its this upcoming, I don't think its an MM day...We had that like a month ago, or something close to that. I'm not quite sure what's going on with this one, but, Dondo, Nemesis, PDX are going up on the Dyno to show off their sweet numbers
