I've always loved the Miata. I wish I could daily one over here in Spokane. It wouldn't make it out of the driveway with all the snow we get...

It is snowing but nothing extreme. If you have decent all weather tires you would be fine. I have summer tires so not good for me. They suck sub 40*.

Summer tires all year round, No point to change to winter tires in my opinion.

RS3 in snow; dont work with a ****. Ive had a couple episodes where I was digging me car out of someones driveway or stuck on my street. Studded snow tires all around on the Miata! Some sand bags in the trunk and get out of my way.

Frankly if it snows ill just leave an hour early and walk to work. I prob should run to work more often.

Thankfully my wife takes where I need to go so I can run Summer tires. Definitely would not drive on them in the snow/icy conditions. It is like driving on hockey pucks.

Yep. I either leave early or just work from home. It is not worth risking it.

I often wonder if people with this opinion also don't see the point in r-comps for the track

I have driven in very cold wet weather. When the temps drop and there is moisture on road my car is all over the place.

I never experienced that in the rx8, maybe its because yours is much faster.

lol that's what I do in my beater fc! 4 studded "like new tires" on craigs list were the best 65 bucks I ever spent lol , and if it does still go off in the ditch not much of a loss... haha
