Ok, today I change my air filter for the second time, sence I have the car, and like the first time, it had some oil in it (not much). sence I had the time I look around and I did not find much in the intake after the oil filter. I had never had this happened to me before on my other cars, and that is including my two Rx7. can some one explain to me why this is happening and is it Norma, car runs great!!! now this is my second engine and after they change my engine I did check the air filter to see if it was change, and it was not the put the old one wish had the oil stain.

 

I think it is pretty common. Mine has done it. I cant remember where but I have seen a few threads about people with the same issue.

 

Comes from over filling oil or when you pour it in it goes down the side tube into the intake.

Simple just disconnect the tube at the spout filler neck. Cap the tube and put a filter on the neck.

NOW... go clean the intake, tube and MAF,

Then repeat in 3 weeks as oil will still get on the MAF.
