Pacific Raceways tonight...Test & Tune...

Going racing tonite - if anyone wants to meet up.

Cost is $25 for car and driver
$10 for season number - (one time fee).

I'm leaving the stereo in (80lbs?), and just going to run as-is.

I'm pretty sure I'll be launching around 6-8K...just to see what happens...hehe...

If anyone else wants to show, come look for me

was fun...but I'm seriously pissed off...the car had TROUBLE breaking 90mph in the 1/4...I'm about >< this close to selling the pos. 238hp my ***.

That's too bad...though I know I didn't buy it drag race...if I wanted a drag car I would have bought a mustang or something cheaper, with less class and more ummmpphh.

ive heard when it comes to the rx-8's the engine is "luck of the draw". some perform better than others. but i dont know if thats true or not

I'm guessing its one of two things. (Or maybe bolth.)

1. Driver
2. Track

While I have never raced my 8 at PIR, I have at woodburn. All the times I've raced it, I've been well into the 14s, and well into the 90s. (My car is completely stock. No intake, CB, MP, ecu etc.) Last time I had it out was when I still had the L flash. I have no idea what it'll run now....but what I did was put about 20ish lbs of air pressure, launch the car around 4,500rpms. Shift the car right around 9,400rpms. With some cool tempatures, I'm shure it'll run in the 14s, and 90+mph. BTW, my car only made 165rwhp on a mustang dyno too. CJ

Hate to break it to ya, but I've got a WRX under my belt buddy. It was close, not a beating on either side, but I did take him. And that was with the DSC/TCS on. Sorry to tell ya, but your WRX isn't a super speed demon!

P.S. I'm starting my 2 weeks tomorrow, I'll be working out of Blue on Days.

u may have a WRX under your belt...but not mine! muhahaha! ok im joking with ya bro. i dont race anyways.
Hey Nemesis, i will be home next weekend!! woo hoo!! at least i wont miss the entire summer! if u guys get a meet soon, ill stop by and say hi.

the temps are averaging almost 110 degrees here along with 100% humidity. it sucks bad. the humidity kicked up right when our replacements showed up. thank god i wont have to deal with the humidity anymore.
