I think it's a great idea. Obviously too short a distance to warm up your '8 properly and a great excuse for a bit more exercise. And you can take nice long weekend trips in it which are better for it and you.

Excellent idea. If I ever get up in time to catch the bus again, I plan on doing the same.

Yeah two miles is nothing, just walk it. I'll be in the same situation too when my company moves to downtown Bellevue in November. 20 minutes to just walk to work, save money on all that gas!

Yes!!

I walk 1.7miles each way to work and it is soooo worth it.

Think of it this way. You no longer need to make sure your car is drivable by Monday morning!!

You can have it up on jacks putting springs on it or a turbo any time you want!

And with the money you save in gas you can probably afford the Mazsport kit in about 6 months.

That and you'll probably find you drop about 10 lbs in 3 weeks. I know I did.

Wussies!! You're all a bunch of wussies!! Drive your 8!! Do it everyday! 2 miles? 200 miles? Even if it's just 20 feet! Drive it, floor it and rev it like there's no tomorrow!!! Zoom zoom all the way!!!

All kidding aside. If my work is just two miles from my home, I'd just walk. Save gas and burn those calories I say.

While I was working 16 miles across awful 520 traffic I took a vanpool every day and drove my 8 only for fun. Very low mileage makes me a happy camper!
