I think so, so there is some flexibility. The Lions club won't be there for a practice day, so it might be worth stopping for breakfast somewhere too.

Afternoon was a BLAST! I busted out a 61.XX twice. Im looking through my footage because I guess there was a section I was 4 wheel drifting through two gates. Was within the top 3 fastest non PAX of course.

I didnt watch all my footage I just saw this one was a 61.XX run and threw it on youtube. No editing. I just had to turn it right side up because the camera was hanging upside down from my sunroof.

[EMBED]<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/1VQ-vjGz_og&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/1VQ-vjGz_og&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/EMBED]

Not bad for my first ever "autocross"

I'll post mine tomorrow, I'll have to flip them right-side up too. Never, ever, going out on All Seasons again, lol.

Hey Brad, I bet your camera has a setting like mine does for mounting it in car like that. If you've got a dark interior and a bright outside, the outside ends up over exposed. There's a mode where it light balances on the exact center of the screen only that works a lot better.

my wife know how picky, I am with angelica, so she does not drive angelica at all. I think she drove her like 5 time only in the past 4 years. three of them were went we got angelica and the other two times were, went she made me feel bad for having a better car then hers, so I force her to drive my car two days, by taking her car to work, after that she toll me she did not like driving my car, because she is worry that something will happen to angelica went she is driving her. I toll her not to worry , but I think she does it more out of respect. She know angelica is the car of my dreams!!!

Anyway thanks for the invite, it looks like you guys had fun, and yes she does like to go with me to the track or on drive. Its always the three of OS (Anibal, Eileen and Ashley) Hope to see you guys soon!!!

Man, what an aweful run to have come out good.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EU8rkcBbxqQ

I recorded 6 of my runs total, and 5 of them have a big smudge in the middle of the lense

You should pull the camera back next time. So we can see you slide all around that leather seat.

I actually like that perspective a lot. Next time I'm going to try what I've seen a few other people do which is put it on the outside of the windshield angled down a bit more. It picks up the cone hits better that way

My biggest complaint with interior camera shots is you can't see far enough forward outside the car. The encoding ruined it on youtube, but if you watch the raw video from my camera you can easily see 4 or 5 elements ahead at all times. I think ideally I'd have a 2nd camera focusing on my hands and feet, but it'd be a pain to synchronize that.

If I'm remembering right, that run was a 69.something... my best for the day was a 67.1 clean I'm going to buy my star specs this week.

I found a really cool way to sync the video, if your editing software shows the audio graph(not sure what you call it) clap hard twice with about a second or two between claps, and then line up the two spikes and you're good.

You should probably just email her. Her email is linked from the registration page on motorsportsreg.com

And yah, if she remembers who you are, she might even block you from registering for the event (I was actually planning on emailing her to vouch for the fact that you are legitimately a "novice"). Registering on the site puts you on the wait list, then she moves you to registered upon approval.

I'm still surprised at your times for your first event. I'll be intrested to see how your time compares to Anijo's when he get's his Star Specs back on. Good job on Sun. Unfortunately I'll be off the autox circuit till June/July.

Zack thought it was going to be really close but that you had better instincts, most likely from being around fast vehicles a lot more. That was back when he was here in August. You've had a lot more experience driving fast so it wouldn't surprise me all that much if come last run of the day we're real close. That said, I bet it's going to be a bit before your competition runs catch up to mine. You only get to compete on your first 3-4 runs of the day Back before I had coilovers, I'd be 1-3 seconds ahead of Chris and Mike at the lunch break on a practice day but they'd have caught up or passed me by the end of the day.

As for mods... we'll see. I kinda doubt the chassis stiffness will have a huge impact but the sways will. It's going to be pretty fun come your first real event Racing excuses FTW

Also be aware, GeorgeH is another 1-2 seconds ahead of me with similar mods So being beat by other 8's is nothing new. Your first Packwood event should be a blast

We shall see. If we can walk the course during real events ill need to walk it alone. Between you and Scott talking to me I was overwhelmed with info that I was lost out there. If I can pound out my issue of hard ABS braking and my back end kicking out I should be a lot faster.

I hope Michelle doesnt deny me of Novice School.

So I hear they're repaving PR between Turns 1 and 3A during March. It'll mean a period of fewer track days I'm sure but it'll be worth it, right?

Well the latest update (4th week) on the SyKart racing league is that I'm the slowest guy out there. I started 1/9 and finished 8/9. The ninth guy is driving the 6.5hp karts and everyone else is in the 9hp karts. This is how bad I am, the guy that finished 7th is very fast and he had a stop and go penalty and he still finished before me hahaha.
