Dongle or not, it's all the same really. If the connection gets jiggled or whatever else you will have to unmarry and start all over again regardless. My OBD2 port connections are super flakey. One of these days I need to unpin and tweak them all to get a more solid connection. It's really aggravating to keep loosing the connection while logging.

Hang on, I just got my AP back today. Cobb has it set for pickup and FedEx missed the pickup. They called and apologized. So, on Tuesday I will run the new 2/3 log as far as I can in RPM and MPH. I just got back after a drive cycle to make sure it was working, and yes, the new version without the dongle, is by far superior on it's connection to the port and worked.

You could either read it in G/S or volts it wouldn't matter. Its like saying Yes or Si, they mean the same thing just different languages.

If you didn't manipulate the calibration the G/S would read the same? Its just a translation of volts, similar to temperature from a sensor.
