I'm looking for a small powerful battery to relocate against the firewall. Any pointers here?

Update: Paul received his check today, so I'm arranging the truck for pickup of the engine for the journey home.

I wish, but that was not on the list to do.

Rick did something extra that I'm not sure of yet. He told Paul, "Hey I also did...." and that is where Paul left me hanging.

Sohn Reservoir Tank

In looking at my reservoir, it has a level switch. Dan, you mentioned that I may be able to use the sensor plug for the coolant overflow tank as a source for power to light up an indicator maybe. Not sure how to make that work?? What should I measure?

I would just wire it to the sensor and see what happens....

You could check it with a meter if you want...it's likely a NO switch full...and Closed empty to turn the light on.....

That's cool - the connection uses standard electrical spade connectors. I'll wire it up tonight and see if it throws the dash light for low coolant.
