Hello all. Well, this Sept. I went to the Reno Air Races and had a blast. Just thought I'd share some photos from the weekend. It was incredible to hear the warbirds in absolute full throttle!!!

A purpose built racing biplane. He absolutely smoked all of the other planes in his class. I believe he lapped every plane in the race.

This is Fat Albert, it's the Blue Angels C-130 support plane.
The Blue Angels on the way to the runway. They even taxi extremely close.

Im totally jealous! I want to go do that one of these years. What I would do to fly a P-51. Though P-38 are my favorite WW2 plane though.
Did you get any movie clips? I hear Paul Allens collection of planes fly around my house all the time. Ill run trip scramble to get outside to see them.

Man, that's one hell of a telephoto lense you've got there. The perspective on some of those races is awesome, did you manage to get above their flight level in a few cases? I wish I'd had a lense like that or at least good binoculars for when the blue angels were here...
I'm totally jealous though. A-10's and C-5's were above my house daily growing up but every summer, there was a stunt plane that practiced every afternoon, but I've never seen anything like those races!
