Is RX-8 doable in NW as an only car?

Just need some advice fellas in the Seattle area. I am moving to Seattle in 3 months and I have to buy a new car...

So far it is either the RX-8 or Mazda6 but I would drive this car all year long. I'm from michigan so I'm not new to Snow or ICE but I don't really know what Seattle winters are like at all.

Oh I'm also buying through Mazda S-Plan...anyone know any dealers who do S-Plan in Seattle Tacoma area?

Thanks guys.

We normally don't get very much snow in the winters on the west side of Washington. This year I think it snowed once or twice, last year it didn't even snow. I would have no worries about having an RX-8 as an only car to drive in Seattle.

The 8 is the only running car I've got right now. Get the 8. If we do happen to get a freak snow flake (1 flake in the region will do) your boss will understand you missing work.

Agreed. The 8 will do fine during most Seattle winters. Not enough snow to worry about.

About the S-plan: as of about a month ago, University Mazda (Seattle) , Sound Mazda (Renton) and Milam Mazda (Puyallup) were willing to do S-plan on an 8. Other may as well, those were the dealers I checked with.

Good luck on the move and go get yourself an 8 to celebrate!

I drive my 8 year round and we get way more snow on the Eastside of the state. No problem get yourself an 8 then join the rest of us in driving bliss .

just leave the traction control and the stabilizers off if you want to have any winter fun.. Or so I hear.

I also have the RX8 as my only car in the seattle area, and I have no worries whatsoever. Have fun and enjoy!
