Hey gang. As many of you know, I've been hosting The-Winding-Road's drives out of my hobby budget. Back in October I started the Night Owl Drive series, and was planning to start the Saturday Drive Series this month. However, since I've been out of work since October, and am still looking for an IT Management or Systems Administrator position (shameless plug, I know), I have to scale things back a bit. I'm suspending the Night Owl Drives and postponing the launch of the Saturday Drives until I've got the funds rolling in to pay for all the research, planning, and production costs. Aint it funny how we either have time or money, but rarely both.

Any how, I'm continuing the Sunday Drives, but wanted to make sure folks who've been planning on one of the other drives know what's going on.

And of course, if you know of an opening, I'd appreciate a heads up. The sooner I get back to work, the sooner I get back to spending way too much time and money planning drives.

 

What type of SA work? NT? UNIX? PM me if it is UNIX because the company I work for may have an opening Of course you would have to be willing to work in Portland, OR.

Windows mostly, unfortunately. As much as I prefer *nix, I'm really more of hack on that side of things. I'd love to help get the PDX drives going, though. Just gotta have time and money at the same time.

 

Kris - have you tried USAJobs? I see IT jobs on there frequently.

Hey..Kris...you live in Redmond, right? why don't you try applying at Microsoft? They always have a lot of positions open.... or you can check out Premera.com. We have some openings in IT Dept. good luck!
