does anyone have the stock intake box with or without the filter? i am looking for one for my automatic. i know the 6spd and autos are a bit different. if anyone is interested, ill do a straight up trade for my blue typhoon intake with the filter! this intake is set for an automatic unless u know how to change it up for a manual (its in the instruction manual).

oh the reason im asking is cuz my friend in vegas wont answer my phone calls or emails. he has my stock one in his garage.

lol its ok, we all get old at some point but we are all still kids at heart!

well it looks like my lease is more shafting than i thought. im in the hole more than i thought so my "SANDBOX" money is gonna have to bail me out if i want out of my lease. i may have to finance the car myself and then sell it right away. that will save me some cash, a few thousand to be exact.

 

How much is a stock box? I might be willing if it's not more than $150 to replace the stock box. Are you going to leave the chrome wheels on it also? Or did you trade them off? They did look really sharp on the blue.

 

how soon would you need it? I saw some people selling it pretty cheap on Ebay... cheaper than the factory that is.

I'm thinking of upgrading it to the HKS one... so I may have a stock one.

this wont happen till the summer though, im heading to the sandbox before all this happens.

i have been reviewing my lease ending options. i will consider what to do. i might try to return the car to a mazda dealership and see what they can tally up. my lease was a serious rip to my ****. i used a lease calculator and it told me so as well LOL!

i tried to look on ebay for a stock airbox but couldnt find one.

 

I have the stock intake, along with the "tuned intake runner" that goes in front. Have you found one yet?
I also have the stock exhaust and strut bar avaliable as well if anyone is interested.
