Ticket in the USA????

I'm not one to rant about getting tickets from breaking the speed limit but I think it's horrible the way the cop and the courts in washington gave me the total run around package. I just got a ticket for going 90mph in a 70mph zone last week on a day trip to seattle. I pull over, turn off the engine, take off my sunglasses, get my licence ready, and the cop returns with a ticket. So I ask him, since it's my first ticket in the US, how I could pay for it. He replies that all the instruction's in the back and should circles a district courthouse that I can direct my questions to. So I drive off to seattle, and my friends wanted me to settle and pay the ticket before we start shopping and seeing the sights since it was putting a damper on my mood. So I ask around in seattle where I can pay a ticket, someone directs me to a courthouse in seattle. From there I find out that I should go to the courthouse marked by the officer (Everret District) to pay the fine. So OK... I drive back to Everret and ask around for direction. Some construction guy wacks my door with his stop sign while I talk to him and I was like WTF?!, but I let it go since I couldn't notice any scratches. I head to the Everret district court which the officer had circled on my ticket, and wait 30 mins in line to talk to the cashier. The cashier then tells me that the ticket is actually filed in the "Casscade" district (one that the officer had CROSSED OUT on my ticket) and I have to pay over there with them and suggest that I should just go back and make a payment over the phone from canada since I don't wanna drive halfway back up and come back down to seattle. So ok I'm like ok whatever..... then today I call the courthouse and go through a bunch of touch tone menus and find out that the ticket has not been filed by the officer yet and it usually takes 2 weeks for them to come in. On the back of the ticket it says I have 15 days to reply to this ticket. So now I'm even more like whatever...
then again, I guess the good thing is that it gave me excuse to get more break-in miles on my 8 :P
