Time for a drive

So, it's time for a drive. What're everybody's weekends like?

I just ran out and picked up the Destination Highways book. So far, it's a great guide. I'll have an idea this evening on which playground to try.

So, after going through my books, I think the best drive for north enders would be Whidbey Island cruise. It's fairly central, again, for north sounders, and according to my latest reference, we should be able string a pretty good stint together.

Alright, just checked the DOT (Destroyers of Twistieness) website. N Cascades is still closed, so if we want a longer drive, it's gonna have to be one of the ones on the Peninsula. Neah Bay sounds good to me. Plus, there're plenty of twisty side roads along the way, if we decide they're necessary.

Gee, I don't know, Alan. I'm not sure I want my 8 to be seen hanging out with a 7 . Of course. Hell, maybe I should post this on the other side of the fence too.

I've done them both! :D

Standing on the ledge at Cape Flattery is awe inspiring to say the least. The view of Tatosh Island is a must see. :p

So, the gal I've been cyber-flirting with perked up at the mention of Neah Bay, and since I'm running out of material quick, that's where the drive is.

Well, who's up for Sunday? Like I said, I need material, so we gotta go now. I'll come up with a meeting spot soon. Ferry or Bridge to get across the sound?

Well the thread doesn't say next week is time for a drive. Does it? :D I think meeting in Bremerton would be a splendid Idea. Now for a time.

Damn, I hate being sick! I sooooo want to go for a drive, but my poor 8 is sitting in the driveway until the doc gives me the OK to start driving again!

Everyone is acting like getting dizzy and passing out is a big deal or something....it really wouldn't be too bad for that to happen while driving on the twisties would it?

If all you need is for the Doc to say Okay, tell him that cold medicine you got at the back of the shop in Chinatown did the trick and you feel much better now. :D That should convince him to approve the drive.

Note: The Chinatown reference is not intended to offend anyone. I just needed a universally understandable way of saying some completely mysterious cure that us WASP (not Speed Tax Collectors) have no understanding of. :|

If we behave, it's 7 hrs From Bremerton to Neah Bay and back to Bremerton. I'm thinking the 08:45 crossing for a start at 10:00 sounds good. Gives us time to play, have lunch, and be home in time for a good nights rest so we can start Monday Bright Eyed and Bushy Tailed.

You have 3 extra seats in the 8. How many brats you got?

My apologies. Having, not to long ago, been a child, I was under the impression that all juveniles were brats.

How many children do you have, sir.
