Tracks in Idaho
I'm from Seattle but currently I'm in Idaho for college. Does any ID members know of tracks in the area? I'm in Rexburg. Driving a few hours isn't a problem. Just gotta know where to go when I get my 8 in a month :-D

I'm not in Idaho now but might give afew suggestions.
Boise has a great SCCA event that used to be held at the collage football stadium in Boise (BSU I beleive) the one with the blue astro turf....held in the big parking area. Held on different week-ends in the summer.
Meridian has Meridian speedway and if they still do it have an event most week-ends of the year during the races where spectators are allowed to race head to head with one other car around the track for 1-2 laps. Only need insurance and a helmet. But I have seen a few cars and trucks hit the walls. But its lots of fun. The 8 would hold the road alot better than when I did it in my lowered '58 Ford 500 .
There is a track out by Emmet (Firebird Raceway) but I dont beleive they do circle track any more but you can do drags there. Pocatello has drags and also holds a scca event sometimes. Twin Falls has a nice track. Idaho Falls the closest to you doesn't have much maybe some scca. They have a dirt circle track.
I think your best bet for fun would be to look into the SCCA for Idaho though. If you want a big kick in the pants, do this http://www.openroadracing.com/index.html Its just down in nevada ways about 5 hrs from you.
