That corner was an area that mine crapped out with a weak pump as well.......there and turn 7 area. I have an almost new pump if you want to try and see if that helps...or you can spend for the Mazsport upgrade

Thanks. I may take you up on that. The strange thing is I didn't notice any loss in performance. Did you have the engine sputter or just get the CEL?

I got the CEL a couple of times when I had my car at the track. I never noticed any loss in power. A single misfire isn't really enough to feel. I ended up getting the solid CEL, which I later found out happens if you get a second misfire while the CEL is still flashing. I think it reported a misfire at 8500 RPM or something. I cleared it, but I got the flashing CEL a couple more times during the day. Each time I pulled into the pits and let it stop flashing, then headed back out onto the track.

probably doing track days at PIR in June and Sept. You should come down. Did you ever get the front and sides installed?

Not yet! I put about 25 hours of work into prepping the front. The sides still need some work to fit right, so I need to take care of that before I have them primed and painted. We ended up with a lot more medical expenses than we were expecting last year, so it got put on hold. I'm hoping to work on it again soon. We have a baby due the week after next, so it might get put on hold again for a while.

The problem with track days at PIR is that with current gas prices it costs like $100 just to get there and back!

I generally go with the nwalfaclub.com. You can also check out the BMW club, Porsche club, and speedware has some sponsered events as well.

Agree that a single misfire isn't a big deal. I figured though if it was fuel starvation I'd feel a general drop in power and engine sputter due to air getting in the fuel lines. I definitely didn't feel a loss in power and figured it wasn't the fuel but the fire.

The CEL stayed on because I just kept going and didn't let up.

Gas is getting really high and has impacted what I want to do and where I wanted to go this year. Anyway good luck with the baby!

I did the cascade sports car club on the april 25th and the new track is NICE! The pavement is smooth as baby's butt and overall a great great condition! There's the new turn now at 7 where they narrowed down the entrance and it is tricky!

I'm already heading out next friday with team continental and I am pre registered at the June 28th TC as well. I was going to attend the HPDE with CSCC on the 6th, but I gotta keep it once a month. It aint cheap with these gas costs soaring up.

Hope to see you at the track, represent the 8's!
