any one know why mazda extended my warranty? **** i aint complaining but I was just wondering?

they extended the warranty on the engine core itself. Lots of goobers that do not understand the particulars of a two stroke have bought these cars and they are trying to prevent bad publicity is my belief.

About a year after release, Mazda realized they were seeing a higher than expected number of engine failures. It has since been shown, by way of Mazda adding a 3rd Oil injector for each rotor on 2009 and up cars, that this was the result of a design flaw and insufficient OMP operation (bad ECU programming, as noted by increased oil injection upon reflash of the ecu). As a result, Mazda engaged ina very aggressive engine recall program, and as compensation, and to prove their faith in the motors, they extended the Power Train warranty by 10K miles and 1 year. Note, the power train stops at the eccentric shaft. Flywheel, clutch, and everything back from that is drive train.
