why arent there more portland / vancouver meets?

just like the title says. why? i see plenty of rx8 and othe rrotary people in the area (vancouver) and i know there are plenty from the portland and surrounding areas, so whats the deal? why dont we have more meets and do some fun stuff.

hell i will even host the damn things if people will actually show up for them.

Supermac are you willing to meet up a little north, maybe even the Tacoma area? We are trying to start something here in the northend. Our first meet was a pretty good one, with at least 9 cars showing up. If you can try to make it to the May one were gonna have, although I don't think I can make it, since I'm working every weekend this month unless they have it on a monday or tuesday.

well id like to get monthly meets going, so that even if you have to wrok you can always plan a day off or something for the next month. and then at least twice a year i would like to have large gatherings with events and such.

it kinda sucks ive had my car now for a few months and havetn been to a single rotary meet. ive been going to evo and sti meets cause they are really cool people and meet damn near every week.

but oh well hopefully the summer will allow more days for some nice meets and cruises.

I'm down. I moved back to the pdx area 2 months ago and was asking the same thing at the other site. I see the cars everywhere and we were more active in Spokane where there are fewer cars than here.

I'm 141 miles from Portland and 109 miles from Seattle - so either way it's a road trip for me.
