Talking Yay! Bella's back!

I finally got Bella back after being at the body shop since March 12. She looks great and you can't tell anything was ever done to her. Paint matches perfectly and everything, too. I lucked out; the emblem came in yesterday afternoon so I was able to pick her up with it on. Yay! She drives like brand new and, interestingly, my strange shifting problem where it was hard to shift into second gear or downshift into fifth gear is totally gone now and smooth as can be. I still can't believe over $8000 in damages! I'm still quite annoyed that the guy they blamed for causing the accident (have no idea what he actually did; all I know is I skidded into everyone) had no insurance and a suspended license. So, that meant I still had to pay out my $250 deductible. I'm just glad my car is finally back.

I'll have to take some pictures in the next couple of days when it is going to be nice and sunny out for some before and after. And, of course, pictures with the ears on (thanks Linda!).

Good to hear it. So the solution to the 2nd gear shift issue is a good smack on the nose? I think I'll pass, but at least someone finally figured it out.

Whether it's true or not I don't know, but someone had told me that putting a car up and down on a lift can sometimes cause the transmission to shift ever so slightly if the lift is not in the exact right position. So, I don't know if that could possibly be what happened to mine or not. It sounds kind of silly since cars go up and down all the time for various things, but mine started acting up right after I had it in for service.

Yay! Time for you to have some fun driving her around

I'm supposed to get mine back from the autobody place Friday, just dropped it off to get that darn scratch removed. Comprehensive insurance ftw.
