The news so far:
ETA @15th-20th of Jan.
Pricing is still not truely finalized so I really dont want to report on a rumor.
I should hopefully have some info on design and specs this week maybe even a picture of the CAI itself.
As soon as I get some good factual info I will relay whatever I find out.

Just found out some very interesting information from Mazda on the upcoming CAI. This info justifies the MSRP alot more than me just saying it says MAZDASPEED on it.
I was told the reason that there are no current pictures of this available is that the final design still has not been stamped with approval yet. This is a true CAI not one that still resides in the engine compartment. It is a 3in system, instead of the 2.5in that has been reported before, from beginning to end. It snakes its way though the radiator support and down into the front cover so that it actually receives fresh air from in front of the vehicle. There has been alot of engineering put into this design, it will be a skill with tools needed install.
This is all that I know so far will report more when I know more.

usually businesses have a higher markup so they don't undercut their vendors.

That said, I'm still interested in it because I love the throaty growl of a good open intake, and it would be nice to have one the Mazda monkeys won't try to blame other warranty problems on.

I would have to agree that his HP #'s are probably more acurate do to a conversation I had with a friend after I posted those #'s. I swear I wasn't trying to boost sales I just went by what I have seen on other cars, I do appologize if I misled anybody.
But the, dealer cant screw with you aspect, is probably the bigest selling point for this product.
Thanks you for the acurate info.
