you have to move the intake tubeand push it off to the side or completely take it off.

I haven't gotten a chance to check my plugs yet (as the car is in the shop) BUT I went ahead and ordered some from onlinemazdaparts.co last night.

how often do you need to change the coils? or do you only replace them if they are fried? I guess my question is, will the current coils fry sooner or later?

thanx

The is no particular time change for the coils. You just change them when needed but you do change all 4 at once, mainly because you are there and they are a pain in the *** to change.

The answer to the last question is, YES.

Mine were physically burned out and taking a meter to it tested out lower than what it was supposed to be at.

How much would n3h1-18-10x cost me? I.e. the entire assembly not just the coils.

This coil pack is currently on backorder from Mazda. The other issue is that it may not come with the most updated coils on it. Wont know until Mazda gets them in stock.

This includes the bracket they mount to and all of the coils as a complete package.

The parts you just bought are being offered at quite a discount from Mazda presently.

Both of you are top-notch website members. Bagman and I have been having quite a conversation on my own particular problems and the idea that I am leaning toward just rebuilding my engine. I need to make sure all of my TSB issues are covered first, though.

Paul, I mailed you recently about those pedal assemblies and I wanted to add one of those coil brackets, used of course, to the list. Have you had a chance to check it out? What is a good time to call you?

Right now, but wait, your offline.

Try me whenever you feel like it. Somewhere within the next hour they'll release me to go to lunch.

Sorry for the hi-jack. Keep selling, Bagman.

Yeah, I think I'll get a new one, at that price. I should have included it in my coil order.

Hijack? Fuggedaboudit. These conversations always meander. I'll call ya Friday, Paul.
