I literally just got off the phone with Mazda.....

We are now having a supplier issue, in that we where told the parts would be to the PDC's last week and then told that we would see them at the PDC's yesterday and now that has been pushed back to late this week to middle of next week before the PDC's will see them.

Happiness is suppliers that can meet demand.

Is this affecting all places that ordered intakes from mazda (i.e. dealers themselves)?

This is going to effect every Mazda dealer in the nation that has these on order.

The law varies from state to state on that one. In CA, they have to prove the aftermarket part caused the problem. Do a search on the forum, I believe someone actually posted a copy of the law itself.

Best of Luck,

You are correct in that a dealer has to prove that the aftermarket item is responsable for the problem, but what we are talking about with the MS CAI is the fact that Mazda now offers a popular modification (well eventually) that completely keeps this issue from ever coming up.

Do you have any news on it yet?
The wait is killing me and I've only been waiting for it about 3 weeks. Haha.

Thanks!

I can't say one way or the other as to wheather he has a MS CAI or not (no pictures). The only thing that I know for a fact is that he didn't get it from me. I also know that no MS CAI's have been delivered to any Mazda dealers scince there are none to be had.

It maybe possible that he got his from Mazdaspeed Motorsports scince all of the CAI's they sell are considered for off-road use only, they don't need to go through CARB so they get them sooner.

Can I have my CAI please... Oh, and here's a funny one for you...

I made an appt to have the MS exhaust I bought from you installed at my local dealer. He told me since I didn't buy it from him it's going to void my warranty.

I laughed so hard in the phone I think I broke the guy's ear. I can't wait to hear what he has to say about the CAI when I come back with that.

FYI this dealer quoted me the shock sensor at $180 ... :D

I am not hiding....... all the time.

I did talk to Mazda yesterday on these. They told me that I should have releases on all my CAI's (exept for the Mazda6's) starting this week and next. So as soon as I get a release notification from Mazda I will post a solid date(yet again).

I am happy that all went well with your order, and thanks for the good grades.

Any updates on the delivery Bagman? By the way, what seems to be the current hold up?

Also, do you know of the dyno results?
