haha he was joking, he does want 300whp! haha

2) better heat and AC
3) dipstick located in a better location so that it's not hard to get to when checking
4) a light under the hood that makes checking oil at night easier

Amen brother!

Plus I would like a rear window wiper. Takes too damn long for the defroster lines to clear the fog/dusting of snow off the window.
A non integrated head unit.
Auto-down on passenger window

Mazdaspeed SuperCharger if possible, I dont like Turbo on my 8, I want to keep it as close feel to N/A as possible. and it shouldnt be that hard for Mazda since they have all source code to ECU, make it this way. If installed by dealer u get 12 month/12,000 miles warranty, if not then u dont get anything. As long as Dealer install price is reasonable. I'll be the first one to jump on.

Big Brake Kit is a plus, but not really needed since I can always go for Brembo.

All Gauages. Including Water Temp, Water Pressure, Oil Temp and yes, a WORKING Oil Pressure Gauage. YEs I know you can get a JDM Mazdaspeed one and install it yourelf. but sometimes I prefer to have it factory "pre-installed" (its a pain to install them you know) if not like above, dealership install price gotta be "reasonable"

Oh yeah, add mine as a vote for better gauges. The great unwashed masses may be happy with one that's reads either 'Everythings ok' or 'Danger Will Robinson', but the type of people who are buying a car like the RX8 are likely the type that can read & understand a gauge with real data on it.

I wish the 8 came with a better TPMS. Just an idiot light coming on saying that 1 or more tires are low on air could be made better. On the 350Z, each wheels reads back to the dash the actual tire pressure so you know which tire(s) are running low.

Adjustable seatbelt anchors would be nice too. Also, 2 memory seat position buttons would be real nice...

3. rear fog light

1) MazdaSpeed wheels compatable with TPMS sensors.

2) Aftermarket wheels compatable with TPMS sensors (like Rays, BBS etc.).

3) Standard H.I.D. headlights on all RX-8 models.

Limited choices on aftermarket wheels because of TPMS for '05-'06 RX-8. No problem for '04s

Noted some comments on MS bumper/skirts/wing/etc.

Had the full aero pack installed on my RX-8 late last year. The dealer installed all of the parts, so I got the 4 yr./50K warranty. My dealer charged $500 to install.

The MS parts' price is not cheap. But everything fits right and tight. The paint is flawless. And like many tuner parts from Japan the quality is very high. I'm very satisfied.

The imatations are just that, cheap imatations. Some parts have gaps and dont fit right. Even some carbon parts. You get what you pay for.

If you have the OEM wing and want the MS wing, the mounts are the same. My dealer simply swaped them and I took my OEM wing home.

I read the article on EDMUNDS' INSIDE LINE and I just went for it. I love it!

I would also like to say that I enjoy my RX8 very much. My lease will be up in a year and hopefully I'll have the option to get a late 07 or 08 RX8 with these much needed options.

1). More power. At least 300 hp.
2). Forced induction option (supercharged or turbocharged)
3). Rotary start button.
4). Rear window wiper
5). Side mirror head lights
6). Better A/C
7). The concept Mazdaspeed body kit that does not cost an arm and a leg.

1) Auto Climate Control. The rest of the world has it, so why not us. Even the cheaper models have it, and we are supposed to be the flagship.
2) Better designed cupholder/shifter placement. Why design a car so that whey you actually use the front cupholders, you can barely shift. I can pretty much deal with everything else, but that has always been my major beef with this car.

1.ENGINE INTERHEATER to prevent flooding on those cold nights.

2. Forced Induction

3. Power passenger seat

4. Parchment seats (like the Shinka's, but on all models)

5. 5th seat

6. One rotor should automatically disengage and be cut off from fuel when cruising for extended periods, to save fuel.

7. Clear corner lights should come standard.

8. You got that big LED display in the middle, do something with it. When you get a CEL, have the option of making the readout appear there.

9. Is there a law against factory installed integrated radar/laser detectors?

10. Lower the price of factory option and Mazdaspeed parts, and persuade other manufacturers to do the same.

Me to, on the pedal height.

Addition of telescoping steering wheels to all you cars.
