Cool, I am glad that it got to you in time.
If you do get some numbers I am sure everybody will be interested. What I curious about is the numbers from different dynos and the effects of temp. on the RX-8.

Had a chance to do some "dyno" testing in the mountains this morning.
First impressions are quite good. After 2 hours of hot desert mountain driving, normally a downshift from 6-5 at about 75 would be very sluggish. Normally for me anytime the engine gets extremely hot in traffic or just from driving, it loses responsiveness. That is totally eliminated with this mod.
75-100 is definitely a faster trip now, and you can really feel the effects the faster you are travelling.
Bottom line... If you sit in congested traffic, live in the desert, or do a lot of long drives where the engine gets really hot, this is a MUST HAVE! Overall responsiveness is much improved, and if you already have the exhaust done this really helps bring that note to life.

Trolling since 2004
Okay so I'm a little slack in posting anything about the intake. All I can say is OMG it sounds amazing. I love it! If you're easy on the throttle it sounds almost stock (with the exception for my MS exhaust). Once you push it to the floor, no matter the gear, you start to hear it. In the top rpms, it screams and I've definately felt a slight increase through the butt dyno. My two other friends that always ride with me asked me before I told them I had put it on if the car was quicker for some reason and sounded cooler. Comments like that make me happy. Pull up at the movies to see Tokyo Drift (flame me later, lol) and the kids there were like "Dude, you're car looks and sounds sweet." Keep in mind I have no body mods.
Now the important info. The install took us quite a while because we had to fight with some clips and screws in my bumper cover. I would say if everything went smoothly it would've only taken about 3 hrs. max to install. The engine bay just looks so empty now, but I also get to see more of the engine which is cool. If anyone wants to know anything else just PM me or something and I'll help ya best I can.
Thanks Bagman for being a great dealer!

Just got my CAI installed today along with the new mazdaspeed muffler and it sounds freakin amazing when you downshift at WOT! Thanks Jason for great customer service and super quick delivery, I got my 30 lb. muffler a day early! My setup sounds pretty identical to the sound clip from Dro.
