You don't want the Pettit maps.
Use the original 91 octane map that Scott provides with the unit.
There isn't much that comes with the Int-X. Just make sure you get all of the stuff that is listed on the Mazsport WEB site.
Even if the map is FUBAR, you can copy the screens from one of the abundant threads on the subject available here on the forum.

from what i understand....
Scott did the first wave of tunes but they had to be tweaked a few times...
personally - I would stick with Cam's maps...its HIS SC ...to me, its a no brainer!

From what I can see, hear and experience every 8 is different, every local offers different challenges. How can a single tune map work everywhere and on all 8s? It can get you started but it still needs tweaking. While my version of the map started the 8 first time, it left a bunch to be desired for street use. Jeff (Mazda Maniac) has been kind enough to tweak my map. My moral to this story is you will need someone with knowledge to fine tune no matter who's map you get.

+1 ^^^, the only way to know what your engine is up to specifically is to get intimate with your log files. You can't even expect a 3 hour session to get a perfect street tune because of the changing dynamics of your driving and env. variables.
I have spent the better part of 3 months with Jeff's logs, and am just now really getting comfortable with calling averages and making fuel predictions. And that assumes you know your target Air Fuel ratio...which in and of itself will vary from car to car.

Mazsport Stree Tuning
As I mentioned on a previous post (# 190), I just got my RX8 tuned by Scott at Mazsport. The car is running 110% better now and I’m loving it. Keep in mind that every car is different and even if you install the same equipment onto two different cars, it will require two separate tuning sessions to achieve optimum horsepower and particular MAP settings. Scott also installed a Mazsport Cooling Fan Control Mod after noticing that the car was running a bit to hot. The Control Mod was able to bring the temperatures down to acceptable levels even though it was in the 90s at the time and high humidity. Scott’s street tuning took every bit of the three hours he estimated. We opted for changing the Dyno tuning that was originally scheduled to take place right after the street tuning for a couple of weeks later and let the ECU learn the new engine/tuning modifications. I have to mention that it was my first time at Mazsport, was able to meet Scott and share a couple of old school rotary stories with him. I noticed that Scott was very meticulous with his work and did not stop tuning my car until he felt completely satisfied with the street tuning session. Just over 500 miles since I installed my Pettit SC, no regrets and compleately satisfied with Pettit Racing and Mazsport products.
