Juan(marsred) just sent me a copy of our p.m. conversastion wherein I did, indeed advise him to set his gap at .036". Just goes to show that even when I think I was wrong or that the info didn't come from me I was, in fact right. I suppose I can start to comfort myself and know that all will go well for me and Paradox in AZ.
Thanks for the reminder, Juan. I even predicted his rwhp after a final dyno session. We'll see how close I was, soon.

How, exactly, are you setting the "gap" on a center-electrode plug?
And, to repeat again (because I see the same mistake happening again) DO NOT put REW trailing plugs in the trailing plug position of the Renesis.
The plug thread is only 19mm deep and the REW plugs are 21mm. The business end of the plug bottoms out and will distort the face of the housing under load.
Please don't make me have to go out in the garage and make another video...
And, to repeat again (because I see the same mistake happening again) DO NOT put REW trailing plugs in the trailing plug position of the Renesis.

Jeff is right on the money. DO NOT put REW trailing plugs in the trailing plug position with out placing the two 1mm shims required to keep the plugs from damaging the rotor housing. Shims are sold by Mazsport, check their website and place an order of four.

Not sure what are you asking. I change the RX8 OEM plug gap by changing the gap between the ground and center electrode???

In order to properly suggest to Juan what his gaps should be I needed to know his projected boost numbers. I must have assumed a solid 8 psi but I am not sure that is what they will end up being. The .036 gap will work well just the same, but the rwhp numbers will differ.

My little man was safly in the trunk. Im pretty sure that the S/C is ok, dont want to open the hood yet, I dont want people at the lot seeing whats under it. I think if it was any other car im sure things wouldnt have gone the same way.
