You will not find them they are top secret documents for Pettit S/C owners only.

9500 rev limit

Hi,

So what happens if I insist on reving the engine and S/C to 9500? Will I get any more power from the additional revs?

Hey, you can do whatever you want and im sure your going to make more HP also but you got 4 or 5 grand sitting around just incase you blow somthing. Im pretty curios if you are.

Thanks Charles, I understand that. However there are situations on the track, where it is better to "over-rev" the car, than to upshift. I'm just suspecting the Pettit S/C loses efficiency over 8500. I was looking very hard for dyno sheets, but I could not find any that reaches farther than 8000-8500. I'd like to see the whole rev band. I like high revving engines, and would not like to loose this characteristic when going FI. So, is there a full rev band dyno? Is the engine gonna blow?

Which situations? --- where you "should" shift up, because you left your peak power revs, but you do not want to do it, because you'd have to immediately reduce due to shape of the next curve. Or on a 1/4 mile track, you reach your peak power rpms just before the finnish line, but you dont want to shift up b/c you'd loose time/speed for shifting. Or, overrev in order to land higher in revs after the upshift. Or just have some spare revs for not perfect downshifts.

Asking for sheets -- I don't care - I'd like to see boost or power curve up to 9500 rpms. Is that possible?

update--- i got the map from scott
and i finally got the pins out of the tb harness. i figued out that the little white plastic cap on the front part of the connector comes off---after that the pins were pretty easy.
I have rerouted the heater hose that is routed on the firewall from the factory. it turned out to create a lot of room once that metal pipe was removed and my ss oil lines were much easier to find space for. It also removes a lot of heat from close to the intake. I have heat guards on the oil lines.
Question---what is the purpose of the TB coolant hose? I know what it does on the oem car. What i am asking is would it be ok to cap that line off rather than routing it across the top of the engine. It takes up space and it carries heat with it. Can it be capped?
this is fun.

Just cap the throttlebody nipples off and route both of the lines that went to it to each other. They only help warm up the throttlebody in cold climates. If you see cold weather you might want to hook it up but its your choice. In hot weather you might want to leave it disconnected from the throttlebody.

I'm dying to see what you get on an A/T with the flash. How's your rebuild coming?

Arrgh! Once the 4AT reflash comes out, this is going to be hard to resist... time to be irresponsible financially... it's only money, right?

I've got a lot of health problems from my overseas time with the military... maybe I can sell my blood as a biological weapon to the highest bidder?

(Just kidding, big brother

Maybe I can justify saving up a little bit more by telling myself I'm going to wait for the stage 3 kit. Have they said about how much more it will be than a stage 2?

This is exactly what I've been waiting for. Is the Stability and Traction still disabled?

No it is fully functional.

You have to turn the X-Mas tree on your self now.
