Now if my grandson's wife would have had a boy I would have had him consider that name but I don't think we want to saddle a girl with that moniker Don't be embarrassed, blame it on your teachers Boy will I get flamed now

I still have a slide-rule on my desk - easier for calculations, can't remember what bread cost, I was the milkman (while in college, where did you say you were born ), the one thing I remember about prices was that gasoline was the ridiculous price of $.15 per gallon. When I was real young, there was no TV. Entertainment was obtained from the radio (or movies). Yea the Saturday matinée was $.15 at the theater and you got to see two movies, a bag of popcorn and a drink.

Oh well, nice to think about but really I enjoy today just as much if not more (just more expensive).

ok i'm in this---as a child we did not have in door plumbing until I was 14 yrs old. Baths were in the creek(summertime) or a tub in the kitchen. We had an out house and if you had to use it at night you 1st had to fight the chickens for a spot(they roosted in there), I had a pet pig--that ran with the dogs and actually chased cars/trucks with the dogs down the dirt road i lived on.
i remember seeing Elvis Presley on his 1st TV show. Mom was actually still cooking on a wood stove(swear to God!) but we had the 1st TV of all the extended family on the farm. My father was a mechanic and one of his customers paid his bills with it.
Cokes were 5 cents. But there were no stores around anyway.
My dad raised his family (my Mom, my brother and myself) and all he had was a Harly davidson Motorcycle. I remember going to the grocery store on it(3 off us plus the groceries!)
Now do yall understand why i cant post a dang oicture!

I totally agree about not using your car to its potential on the street. I just finished an "evasive driving" course up at Summit Point motorsports park in West Virginia. It has wetted my appetite for more track time. Any time you guys go to Road Atlanta please keep me informed as I would love to get in on that.

love to have all yall down--it would be fun and addictive i pronise.
Charlie at Mazcare drove my car today---he was impressed.
Takes something to impress Charlie.
our cars do not come alive until you reach approx 60 mph(chassis I mean) and it is good until about 125---after that it gets a little dicey. Most people with the 8 have not ridden in an 8 that is being used close to its limit. Takes a track to do that and oh man. Looks like the 1st event will be in Feb at Roebling Rd. Stay tuned

man that would be great---and I Promise you, if you havent been on the track with the 8 --you dont know it's true limits. yep --you can sling it around the streets --but it is not the same.
Vechicross is a cool vehicle--always wanted one--how do you find parts for it now?
I ran a cj5 for years---the v/8 version with air suspension and 38" tires. Military type tall but skinny. We were on the hills and in the swamp a lot. Much fun. Hint---dont ever get bottomed out in a chalk mining pit!

I second that. I did a driver training day with some UK RX8 owners club on an airfield, awesome fun, and great doing 80 MPH left handed 90 degree corners!

Here a vid of the day, watch us being rubbish.....

Looking forwards to some more track fun soon...

Besides the new MAF housing, are there any other new "parts" that are required for the flash??
