Thumbs up My Brakelight Decal came today...

I got my red Brakelight decal from Polak today, so I bathed my baby, stuck the dacal on her & started clicking away. Here are a few...

The sun was getting kinda low for sunset, so I took advantage of that to show off the mica sparkle...

flatso,

I'm reminded of those masks that I see on a lot of Dodge Ram pickup trucks, you know, the ones on the actual brake lights, that give you a ram's head look. Now, if they can get away with doing that with the actual brake lights, I can't see how this mod to the center light could cause a problem with the law. That's not exactly a definitive answer to your question, but that's how I see it.

I've also seen louvered coverings over the rear brake lights, made of some body color matching painted plastic.

So, there are examples out there that obscure brake lights a heck of a lot more than this. I suppose the laws vary by state, but I find this mod extremely tame in this regard, nomatter where you live.

I bought the Polak logo for the rear brake light. It looks awesome , matched the paint perfect but at night you can not really see it from a distance. I told my wife where it was and asked her what she thought of it and she was like what? So I had her step on the brakes and I looked at it and to really see it good you kinda have to bend down to see it and be at an angle. It is a very quality piece but I was expecting a little bit more visibility of the logo from motorist behind me. I am not trying to start anything here just my observations.

Observations Noted, however I was going more for a match with Rx-8 logo on the lower right of the trunk not and also I didn't want the lettering to look bubbly. And i like how mine is more tied in with the body color.

And Thank You i tried realy hard to get the colors right on.

Yeah it looks awesome and it is a great deal. I was in no way bashing your product because yours is spot on but I just wanted it to read RX-8 a little better with the brake lights on. I also think the angle of the brake light pointing a little down does not help out either. But you have wonderful products and I just ordered your brake stencils!!!!

Gandu,

(Assuming you're not refering to the do-it-yourself one that D MENAC 7 came up with)

Buy it from Polak at his website www.polakgraphics.com and it will be mailed to you. Cost = $5.00

I sent you a reply to your PM last night at 10:40 pm Eastern time. Didn't it get to you? It's showing that you didn't recieve it yet. Check your PM's...
