$29000 Out The Door: Pushing It Or Could I Push More

IM GETTING MY 8 BY THE END OF MAY AT THE LATEST AND WAS WONDERING WHAT YOU GUYS PAID FOR YOUR 8.

MY 8: BRILLIANT BLACK WITH BLACK/RED LEATHER, 6SPEED WITH GRAND TOURING PACKAGE, APPEARANCE PACKAGE, ROTARY ACCENT PACKAGE WITH NAVIGATION!

MSRP=$33,789.00 AND THE DEALER OFFERED $30,000 PLUS TAX

I'M TRYING TO GET IT FOR AROUND $29000 OUT THE DOOR, WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK? IS IT PUSHING IT OR COULD I GET MORE OFF EVEN WITH ALL THAT OPTION???

Shhhh. Too Loud. Don't have to shout. I am not sure about now, but I would think $30k would be a good deal. I bought mine back in the fall when you where lucky to get anything off MSRP! Maybe someone who has purchased recently can add.

Dealer cost on that car is about $27,000, not including incentives.

GT: $3,441

Navi: $1,721

Dest: $520

If your dealership is offering you 30k, grab it. That is well under invoice. I doubt you'll get 29k.

Show proof please. I think 30k is a steal, jump at it.

I agree with

I agree with doing more research. You should get the car for invoice or below. Check edmonds for the invoice price. There are other sites to check to get better incentive information that doesn't always show up on edmonds. Dealers are "paying" (because they finance too) this lower price (invoice minus incentives, roll-back, ad campaign, etc. that they charge you). They need to make money, so give them about 5% more than this lower number. And there you go... that's a fair number.

I got mine at invoice....however "out the door" would include sales tax. If you can get a GT-8 for 29,000 *including* tax and title.....get it in writing now....
