Edmunds isn't always updated, There is also a $2500 Mazda cash back to the dealer if you lease an RX-8. That's what i'm doing. Turns out to be quite a deal.

Are you sure it's a 24mo loan and not just 0.0% APR for the 1st 24mos?

I also saw 0% for 24 months on the RX-8 in a newspaper ad from a local dealer. I'm not sure if it's everywhere, but they're advertising it now.

Grape where did you get the $2500 incentive for leases info? Last month it was $1500.

0% APR, 24 m only

Just picked up an 8 yesterday... it is indeed 0% APR for 24 months, and you can't finance for longer than that and still get 0% (36 months jumped to 4.1% for me from my local dealer). If you can afford the payment, it's a great deal... free financing for two years!

Also used my "new graduate discount", so that was good.

Hey guys I just got $4250 incentive on a 2 year lease. It is a already existing $750 lease incentive that the dealership earns by selling so many cars a month coupled with the $2500 they just announced last month, plus an additional $1000 for a 2 year lease(only through Mazda's captive financing dept). The thing is the Money factor(read interest rate)is high. For me with excellent credit in my region it equaled 7.4%(.00305 MF).The others are right. There is always a catch. But the incentives coupled with the dealer selling at invoice made the deal sweet. The residual for the car is pretty high as well, but it should be for such a short term lease. My final payment with all the taxes is just over $300 a month.I hope this helps.

I wonder what the chances are that the zero percent deal will be extended and include '05 models?

Ok, Rob - getting close to pulling the trigger?

I doubt they will extend such favorable terms to 2005 models.....

Yes, I am pretty sure I will be going for it. The sad part is that I will be losing my other baby, my Silver '93 Touring!

I know you are probably right about the 0% not being applied to the 05's, but a person can dream, can't he?

SevenStock is going to be perfectly timed for me this year. It will give me the opportunity to see numerous 8's, with various colors, wheels, and body kits so I can be sure I get what I like. I may even put a 4 sale sign on the 7 while it is there!

Can't wait.....

I am going to go with the 0% 24mth Purchase.
My question is if I do not have to put any money down (due to 780 credit score) should I save the $7K and make bigger payments (using the $7K to assist)?

I think it is better to put $0 down especially since GAP insurance will not refund the down-payment if the car is totalled the next day. Correct?

Please let me know what you think on this... thanks!
EDIT: I just did another search and found most of my answer but the posts were prior to the 0% offer.
Also I know I probably can't put $0 down but I mean the lowest down I can and still obtain Credit vs a higher down payment than I need to receive the credit...
Hope this clears things up before everyone tells me to do a search

I paid $0 down and went with the 24 month 0.0% financing. Actually, I went in prepared to pay 100%, hoping that would get me some leverage, but not really, so I figured I might as well park that same money into savings of some sort, and draw off that to pay for my '8; at least I get some add'l interest in the meantime.

When does the 0% offer end?

I could have sworn that it was suppose to end sometime this week. If so, I wonder what kind of new incentive program Mazda might have in order to try and sell the remaining 04's.
