10k is all good and gravy but have u checked how many months are left on your warranty Eyecrazy:

 

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the factory bumper to bumper warranty is only until 36,000 miles. The powertrain warranty used to be to 50,000 miles, but Mazda recently upgraded all 2004's to 60,000 miles.

What makes you think the bumper to bumper is for 10k more? Is that what the dealer is offering?

 

Looked into it. May 08, on the Bumper to bumper. 5 months or 10K. I bought an extended warranty on mine from the dealership. I would highly recommend that, just in case.

Mazda did increase the powertrain to 60,000k on the 04 models.

 

Mazda changed their Warranty starting 06, B to B is much shorter, 36K miles or 3 yrs, whichever comes first.

On 05/04, the B to B warranty is 48K or 4 years, whichever comes first.

Now it has been extended, for powertrain, is 60K miles or 5 years, whichever comes first.
