2006 suede not shinka?

As seen here in this link you can see the leather seats have an insert that looks like suede... I didn't think this was an option for black for 2006 except for on shinka model... Can anyone shed light? I'm lookin for an 06 as they seem to not have many issues compared to 04-05
Thanks

Edit***
Do the windows and sunroof have one touch operation? Both auto up/down? My Type-s simply has driver side. Sunroof I most hold down. Along with passenger side.

Are RX-8's able to open up the front doors from the interior even if the doors are locked? For example. My type-s. I can be coming to a stop and either me or my gf will attempt to get out of car and since we lock the doors as soon as we get in they remain locked and we dang near break the handle off thinking its like my Jeep Wrangler. So we must unlock door, then grasp handle, then step out. Not good if someone was to ever go off a bridge into some water and happened to remain conscious yet the electrical system was knocked out. You'd literally have to reach back in an rsx and manually lift the lock/unlock bar that sits on the far rear side of the door.

Is it true that you can choose between a red or a blue gauge display? If so is this with all year models?

Is it true that the headlights are self leveling. Much like the BMW's?

it's a shinka, that interior only came with the package and that alone gives it away, but you can also just barely see the shinka emblem on the B pillar in one image.

I've seen that stuff and while it looks like it would last, it also looks like it'd be incredibly easy to stain and hard to clean afterwards. you'd have to ban chocolate from ever entering that car.

My Shinka seats are perfect. It's in the way they are taken care of, but there is a thread either on this site or on the rx8web.com that describes cleaning sand alcantara seats. ( shinka seats) . Two things that will determine whether or not its a SHINKA....one it will have it written on the b-pillars, instead of them being plain or saying RX8. Another you'll have to pull the vin and run it through MNAO....look for a description of the suspension. Shinka's have a foam filled suspension, a little stiffer than the norm...THere have been instances I've heard where people have replaced the b-pillars with SHINKA b-pillars....but the suspension is the absolute for sure.

Blah, I hate bein a noob at this. I was under the impression that shinkas were a black cherry color. Regardless this one is a auto and I'm lookin for a manual. I just thought that suede would be better then all leather for cornering manuevers I do. I slide all over my rsx type-s seats. Guess being 6ft3 and skinny doesn't help.

I was simply browsing rx-8's and came across this one with the alcantara (suede like) inserts. Thanks for the input fellas. Searching pics harder owns me.

'05 Shinka comes only in Black Cherry Mica

'06 Shinka comes in Copper Red Mica (Shinka only color), Brilliant Black, Galaxy Gray Mica, and Pearl White Mica... don't recall if I miss any other color.

Piano Black on Center Console, steering wheel control, Shinka Shift **** (manual only), Sand/Alcantara interior, polished headlight and tailight trim, urethane filled crossmember, Sat radio, Sportier suspension... etc... these are what I can recall right now.

Huh, I'd be interested to see pics of side by side comarison of 2006 shinka tails vs stock.
do you have a link of year changes, available options for those years, ect...? Sorry, I'm sure I'll get flamed for that question but as I am out of town in Argentina where the internet is 56k (FTL) I am unable to search as fast as I would be back in my apartment in the states.
