50K for an 8 in New Braunfels,TX ?????

Take a look....

http://www.myworldcar.com/VehicleInventory.asp

Look up the 8's they have in stock. Dealer has marked some units all the way up to 50,299. WTF is that about? I understand dealers will mark up a little above MSRP. Don't like it, and I wouldn't pay it. But almost a 20K mark-up. They must be out of their minds. For that money I'd buy a Hummer H2...lol

Any one in that area....Make the drive up North to Austin. Go see Mazda South..It's worth it.

I was curious about this, basically I wondered what kind of gall this dealer must have to be asking such huge markups. So I emailed their internet sales guy. FYI, here's my email and his response:

Subject: Question about Mazda RX-8's in stock

This question is about your stock #s M107791, MS104242, MS101888, and
MS103744. Is there anything special about these particular RX-8s to
justify the $10,000 - $20,000 markup you're asking for them? The RX-8
is a nice car, but good grief! Why aren't you charging significant
(if any) markup for the other 13 RX-8s listed in your inventory? I'm
just curious to know what's special about those 4 I listed.

What is special about these cars is that the person who input the pricing data made a serious GOOF! Sorry, it is supposed to be corrected ASAP.

Well as of 2pm this afternoon my systems admin guy had not gotten the pricing fixed - I hope that is taken care of by this evening. But, we don't have any RX8's for $50,000. I do have a number of RX8's for sale, and one is an automatic. In some cases we are selling for sticker (MSRP) and in some cases for less. Sorry, but the automatic will be sold at sticker.

If you have any questions, complaints, or want any info email me at davidbrown@myworldcar.com. I'm not advertsing, just telling you what's happening.
