being built right now = delivery when?
My dealer left me a message yesterday saying that my car is being built "right now" and should arrive at the dealer in "4-6 weeks." Does anybody think that 4-6 weeks is possible? This forum has made me pessimistic. I called back and left a message asking for the VIN.

musicola, most of the delay with the first pre-order was with the cars sitting in port
while, it seems, some emissions inspections were being dealt with.
It is likely that the problem has been solved in Japan so, if it is just transit time, 4-6 weeks
seems like a good estimate.
Just keep calling the dealer to see when the car gets on the boat, in port etc.
My car took 4 weeks from the build date to the
time it was in port. Then four weeks in port and two days to the dealer.
I don't think you will have the middle 4 weeks.
