Buying
My father & mother are going into a Mazda dealership really soon to look at the new 8's that they have. I've been looking at this site for some 6 months now so I'm excited that we may be buying one soon. If not now then we will have one by the time summer starts. But I was wondering if there are any special things we should bring up when talking to the salesman since a few of them have no clue about the car. Maybe we could get him to not feel all superior to us lol and he might start giving in...any ideas? What are some good things to do at the start to get a nice low price...ranges out here in Vegas is about $24K (lowest I've seen in the city) to $32K

The main thing will be for them to not go in there too eager. Always tell them that you have other cars that are comparable that you are looking at.
-Don't sit down and negotiate your first time around.
-Ask for the fleet manager if you decide that day you're going to buy.
-Get as many quotes as possible to play dealers against each other.
-Year end clearance prices are always better. If you can find an 05' to your liking go for it.
Are your family a member of AAA? Try going through their auto program first if you are looking at the 06's. They should give you just about 500 over invoice for whatever you want no haggling. Though you can probably get a better price the more quotes you get

This site will help too. I got quotes from all of the sites there, and by the next day the dealership that I bought from said that they'd beat any price by $1000. So I brought in my print out from AAA and got the rest of the incentives that Mazda offered and walked out the door with an Black 05 6MT with Grand Touring package for a little less that 30k. That includes tax license and reg too.
