cash price accessories (???????)

Did anybody pay a cash price accessories??????

I think I was just taken for $219.

We looked at the 4runner (1999) and wrx (2002)
that we bought new. They both had that part
but we did not pay anything.

I think they just snuck $219 profit for them.

Is there anything I can do. We just bought
last night.

thanks.

What do you mean by "cash price accessories?" Explain a little more so we know what you're talking about.

Look under the
Itemization of the Amount Financed.
It is the 3rd line.

We did not buy any accessories.

To be honest, if you don't know what it is, then you were taken...

Now is there anything I can do? They said I paid
$219 for cash price accessories.

Should I demand my cash price accessories.
What ever that is?

This sucks!

Ask them what the cash price accessory was. If they can't tell you it was a piece that they physically attached to the car that was not included in the original package, then demand that they cut you a check. If they are a reputable dealer, they should give it back if they can't prove to you what it was.

These cash price accessories can be anything, such as extended warranty protection plan, dealer add on options such as alarm upgrade which wasn't on the car originally, etc.

Is there anything I can do.
Call up the dealer and find out what's that extra $219 coming from.

When you get there, play dumb and don't get riled. Ask for an itemization sheet on the deal. They have to have one somewhere. On most true accessories you have to sign for them on a a "We owe" unless they are installed as part of the deal. Given that most dealers have almost zip RX-8 accessories in stock you have to wonder.

I went to Trussville's website and they don't have anything that retails for $219.00. Did you get tinting?

No tint, ext warrent, rust proofing, key chains, etc...

I had to get the GRAND TOURING PKG M/T for $3,900 because all the cars on the lot had them.

That is the only option we got.

racerx7,

You have a different contract then me, since you are financing. Since I paid in full, my purchase agreement looked different and didn't have financing portions in it. But I have a line that states specifically dealer installed options. Looks like this is similar, but they are calling it cash price accessories, or something that is not from the factory or port installed (which that total is on your window sticker and should match your line 1A1).

It definately looks like the dealer added SOME OPTION without your knowledge. Seikx8 is right, it could be just about anything. Could it be your PDI? My purchase agreement had an extra charge for my dealer's PDS (pre-delivery service) with a separate line for it. I didn't notice such a line on yours. Could that be the case with yours? That the dealer documents it's PDS/PDI on that line 1A2 ?

You should definately ask for clarification from your dealer on what "option" he charged you for.

Good luck.

Sorry for the slow response. I was waiting
for it to be resolved.

Short answer is they cut us a check and
it arrived yesterday.

Some how VTR was put on our order.
Vechicle theft recovery identification.

I wish I could tell you we just told them
it was mistake take it off and it was done.
In the end they were nice enough to
take it off.

I don't want to complain too much since
they did give us our money back, but
please don't send your mom/grandma there.
